Pre-Joining Training of Deck Officers and Ratings for Ultra Large Container Vessels
This course aims to provide pre-joining familiarization training for deck officers and ratings who will join Ultra Large Container Vessels (ULCV).
Training Outcome/s:
After the training, participants must be able to:
- Explain the operation of pilot ladder winch reels.
- Explain the mooring/unmooring and tug’s line handling operation.
- Explain the use of hydraulically operated windlass brakes.
