The Crane Maintenance Laboratory is equipped with an actual NMF Crane control panel attached to a miniaturized crane, simulated hydraulic equipment, and an instructor’s panel for fault injections. The systems are integrated to enable participants to determine proper operations, perform maintenance and testing, and practice troubleshooting and repairs of marine deck cranes. The participants are engaged in hands-on demonstrations, laboratory
exercises, and practical assessments.
