Stage 2 Offshore Crane Operator Training
This training was designed for candidates with a minimum of one year of crane operator experience or holding a Stage 1 Certificate or equivalent, and who were willing to be trained and assessed under BS 7121 Part 11 standards for Offshore Crane Operators.
Training Outcome/s:
- acquire knowledge of different laws, legislation, and standards, such as the Approved Code of Practice for Offshore Lifting Operations
- able to identify different parts of the crane and required lubrications and maintenance
- able to identify wire rope used for cranes and how to maintain it
- able to identify different types of lifts, Planning, Risk, and hazards identification, and implement control measures
- able to perform different Static lifting operations with confidence without required supervision
- able to deal with different crane alarms and emergencies
