Stage 1 - Offshore Crane Operator Training

This course covers the theoretical and practical aspects of the UK HSE Code of Practice for Safe Working Practices in Lifting Operations and British Standard 7121, Part 11: Offshore Cranes.

Training Outcome/s:
  • define offshore installation
  • conduct crane planned maintenance and preventative maintenance
  • create a lift plan
  • establish communications for the lifting operation
  • ·conduct a static crane lifting operation
  • shutdown a crane
Entry Standard/s:
  • With a valid offshore medical certificate
  • With a valid BOSIET certificate
Duration: 5 training days
