Seafastening Welding Course
This course aims to train all seafarers engaged in heavy-lift vessels, enabling them to develop their skills and ability to secure cargo using welding and gouging methods in accordance with industry standards.
It covers theory and Practical exercises for 2F and 3F welding positions with GPR (General purpose rutile) and LH (Low hydrogen) electrodes used for fastening gouging processes such as Air Carbon arc gouging, oxy-acetylene flame gouging, and Plasma Arc Cutting, which is prescribed in Table A—III/5 (contribute to shipboard maintenance and repair) of the STCW CODE 2010 Manila Amendments.
