Operation of Wärtsilä RT-Flex Electronically Controlled Engines

This course aims to provide marine engineers and operational staff with the necessary knowledge and practical understanding of the Wärtsilä RT-FLEX electronically controlled two-stroke engine. Participants will learn the principles of operation, system components, monitoring, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant engine performance during shipboard operations.

• Operate Wärtsilä RT-FLEX engines as per operational design and instruction manual in a simulated environment
• Perform monitoring and troubleshooting in a simulated environment
• Operate the RT-FLEX engine during an emergency
