This course aims to provide refresher training for Ratings promoted to Operational Level Deck Officers in the safe operation of various Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) equipment installed on board ships.
Training Outcome/s:
- Transmit and receive information using GMDSS subsystems and equipment.
- Fulfilling the functional requirements of GMDSS.
- Provide radio services in emergencies.
