Work at Height Operator
This course aims to develop knowledge and practical skills in Working at Height Safety and Rescue. It also meets the requirements of the Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), providing practical, hands-on training for working at heights and rescue operations in a simulated environment.
Training Outcome/s:
After the training, participants must be able to:
- Identify Height Safety Systems
- Employ Height Safety
- Inspect Working at Heights Personal Protective Equipment
- Climb and descend safely
- Change work position safely
- Develop rescue plan and kit
- Conduct rescue and treat casualty
Qualifications:
- All seafarers involved in Working at Heights
- Participant must be medically fir to perform practical climbing work
