Reefer Container Operations Training

The course aims to enhance the competency of deck and engine personnel in the proper and safe handling of shipboard reefer containers.

It covers topics on the operating principles and proper handling procedures of shipboard reefer containers with practical exercises in temperature and alarm monitoring using functional reefer container systems.  

Training Outcome/s:

• discuss basic refrigeration systems as applicable to reefer containers
• operate the reefer container system properly and safely
• demonstrate shipboard reefer container handling procedures
