Practical Workshop Skills
This course aims to provide knowledge, skills, and behaviors for engine cadets and engine ratings in fabricating engine parts and maintaining and repairing deck and engine equipment using hand and power tools.
Training Outcome/s
After the training, participants must be able to:
- Explain the safety precautions when working with hand and power tools used in engine repairs and maintenance.
- Demonstrate the skills in the safe and proper use of different hand tools used in engine repair and maintenance.
- Demonstrate the skills in the safe and proper use of different power tools used in engine repairs and maintenance.
- Interpret the working drawings and demonstrate skills measuring specific machine part.
