Mooring Winch Testing and Operational Maintenance
The course aims to provide safe working practice training for safe testing and maintenance of mooring winches and associated equipment.
Training Outcome/s:
After the training, participants must be able to:
- Follow Mooring System Management Plan (MSMP).
- Comply with Ship Inspection Report Program.
- Inspect and test mooring winch and brake.
- Inspect anchor windlass, mooring lines, and synthetic tails.
Qualifications:
Deck and Engine Ratings/Officers responsible for safe operation of mooring equipment.
