Continuous Proficiency Development for 2nd Engineer and 3rd Engineer Promoted for 2nd Engineer
The training program includes lectures, discussions, and case studies face-to-face format, and practical workshop, simulator, and computer-based activities meeting the applicable requirement prescribed in Section A-III/2 and Table A-III/2 of the STCW Code, as amended.
Training Outcome/s:
After the training, the trainees should:
- act in a leadership role
- supervise engine department’s daily work,
- supervise inspection of marine diesel engines,
- supervise engine room operations,
- supervise operation of electrical, electronic, and control equipment; and
- supervise troubleshooting and restoration of electrical, electronic, and control equipment to operating condition.
