L-R: Nikolas Brabeck, Dan Porup, Philip Elberling, Donald Bautista, Tony Galvez, Capt. Martin Bankov
UMTC is excited to announce the renewal of its partnership with Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions), solidifying its commitment to providing specialized training for marine engineers in the Philippines.
The signing ceremony included UMTC Managing Director Donald Bautista, President Tony Galvez, Primserv Academies’ Head Philip Elberling, Product Manager Dan Porup, and Everllence’s Managing Director for Singapore and the Philippines, Nikolas Brabeck.
Central to this agreement is a shared mission: to prepare maritime professionals for the rapidly advancing future of engine technology, particularly the transition toward more climate-friendly and sustainable dual-fuel solutions.
Through this partnership, UMTC and Everllence will continue to offer advanced training programs designed for Chief Engineers, Second Engineers, Superintendents, and other qualified marine personnel, ensuring they are equipped for next-generation shipping technologies.
The Only Everllence-Approved Simulator Training Site in the Philippines

UMTC remains the only training center in the country offering Everllence-approved simulator training for Pre-Dual Fuel Standard Operation. This includes access to the original Main Operating Panel screen software, advanced two-stroke simulators, and one-to-one engine response, all essential tools that accurately mirror real engine behavior and facilitate hands-on learning.
Shared Strengths, Complementary Roles
Under
the renewed agreement, Everllence will focus on 2-stroke engine hardware,
simulators, training materials, and expert instructors for the courses.
Meanwhile, UMTC will provide world-class training rooms, complete workshops,
logistical support, and access to necessary tools and facilities for training.
Both organizations are committed to conducting at least four Pre-Dual Fuel Standard Operation courses annually, with the option to expand offerings based on industry demand. UMTC will also handle the safekeeping and maintenance of Everllence’s high-value specialized training hardware, highlighting the trust and collaboration between the two institutions.
Strengthening a Long-standing Partnership
The renewed agreement builds upon a strong foundation: UMTC’s high-quality maritime training environment and facilities, combined with Everllence’s unmatched technical expertise and global knowledge of engine systems.
Together, UMTC and Everllence
remain dedicated to raising the standard of maritime education in the
Philippines—equipping marine engineers with future-ready competencies and
supporting the industry’s shift toward cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable
operations.
