UMTC proudly welcomed the Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (KPVTC) from TESDA Region XI- Davao, led by Engr. Constantino Panes. They expressed a keen interest in understanding our training center's institutional governance, industry collaboration, and assessment systems—key pillars contributing to UMTC being the first and only recipient of the Seal of Integrity recognition.
The delegation was warmly received by Managing Director Donald Bautista, who provided an overview of UMTC, emphasizing our commitment to integrity and quality, which played a vital role in achieving honorable recognition. This was followed by an introduction to our program offerings, particularly culinary courses, services, facilities, and the department's dedication to excellence in skill development, presented by Chef Joselito Pante, the Culinary Training Manager.
An in-depth presentation by Quality Assurance Manager Michael Bernardo concluded the session on a high note, guiding the delegates through the roadmap of Quality Management System criteria for attaining the Seal of Integrity. The discussion transitioned seamlessly into a productive working session, allowing KPVTC to gain practical insights and implementation strategies.
This benchmarking activity marks a significant step toward fostering collaboration and shared excellence in the training and assessment landscape.
