We have gradually opened our doors in alignment with government advisories and our risk assessment, and it has served us well until now.
Today, however, we are in a situation where COVID-19 cases in the Philippines are once again showing a growing trend and to keep everyone as safe as practically possible, we have further intensified our safety protocol.
In this regard, effective 22 Feb 2021, all trainees are required to take the COVID-19 test before the training. On the other hand, we are pleased to inform you that we will re-open our dormitory to accommodate your trainees provided they have negative RT-PCR test results on hand. For trainees who will not avail of UMTC dorm accommodation, only an Antigen test will be required.
As part of our continuing commitment to protect the health and safety of our trainees, employees, and community during these unprecedented times, we are doing our best to keep everybody safe during their stay at UMTC.
We recognize that some companies may still feel uneasy sending their crew for face-to-face training or do not have their own quarantine facilities in place. UMTC is offering distance-learning solutions and continuously working on widening the portfolio of available online courses. We are open to discuss on how we can support your training activities and needs either through existing online courses or tailor-made solutions.
