UMTC and MSC joined forces again on another level of collaboration advancing its shared goal of serving the maritime industry with excellence and innovation.

In August 2023, MSC introduced the Bar Training for its crew conducted by travelling Bar Trainer, Mr. Kristian Joy Puno.

By offering this training, MSC is not only investing in the professional development of its crew but also ensuring that its guests will receive the most remarkable and highest level of service on board.

 

The 12-day Bar Training is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of MSC crew members by covering a wide range of topics including mixology techniques, bar service standards, sanitation and safety, and customer relations.

 

UMTC strongly supported this training by providing upgraded facilities, equipment, and other resources to ensure that the participants receive a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. It also provided experienced faculty members to assist in the training and share their expertise in the field of hospitality and customer service.

 

This collaboration between UMTC and MSC demonstrates commitment to professionalizing the maritime industry and providing world-class service.
