PANGARAP BOYS: TURNING DREAMS INTO REALITY
Did you ever dream of becoming somebody? Sure, you did and still have it. It may be for yourself or your loved ones, about your career or personal life. Since childhood, you have a dream that turns into an ambition, supported by your parents, sibling, or relative every step of the way. But how about those children who strive hard but don’t have the means? Fortunately, Pangarap Foundation exists. It serves as the parent and home, providing shelter and education for homeless, abandoned children, and families in need.
The Pangarap Foundation aims to accompany and support street children and out-of-school youth to fulfill their dreams by sending them to educational institutions and building their characters with morals and values.
United Marine Training Center (UMTC) shares the same mission- to provide competent training and uphold its corporate values. On May 2021, UMTC supported the institution by offering a free culinary internship program for Pangarap Children to provide real career experience and equip their competencies with skills and training.
Today, four interns are now professionally employed at UMTC. Michelle Regacho is currently contributing success to Culinary Department, while Christian Joseph Sumander, Samuel Reyes, and Francis Sobremonte are competently performing their duties and responsibilities as the newest members of the Hotel Department.
These proud Pangarap Boys- now gentlemen, are turning their dreams into reality by showcasing their knowledge and talents to their new home
and partner on taking the long journey ahead, UMTC.
