Pneumatics and Hydraulics for Marine Applications
This course aims to enhance the knowledge, understanding and skills of engine personnel on the working principle of pneumatics and hydraulics and its applications, necessary for them to perform proper and safe operation, maintenance, and repairs of shipboard equipment and machinery. It provides interactive lectures, hands-on demonstrations, laboratory exercises, circuit simulations, practical exercises, and assessments using industry-relevant tools and equipment.
Intended Learning Outcome/s
After the training/assessment, the participant/s shall be able to:
- Monitor the condition of pneumatic components.
- Operate pneumatic equipment.
- Conduct maintenance on pneumatic systems.
- Monitor the condition of hydraulic components.
- Operate hydraulic equipment; and
