Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Bunkering and Fuel Tank Operations
This course aims to provide trainees with knowledge and skills on bunkering operation of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and operation of LNG fuel tanks. It follows the procedures and safe working practices required for LNG bunkering operation and operation of LNG fuel tanks according to IGF Code and industry standards.
Training Outcome/s:
After the training, participants must be able to:
- Perform LNG bunkering operations following the IGF procedures
- Perform LNG handling and storage operations
Entry Standard/s:
- Masters, Deck, and Engine Officers, and all personnel with immediate responsibility for the care of fuels and its systems on ships subject to IGF Code.
- Any person required by the company to attend the course for familiarization.
- Preferably have attended the Basic Training for service on ships subject to the IGF Code.
