IIEE Foundation ties up with United Marine Training Center

01 August 2022 marks the beginning of the bond between the United Marine Training Center (UMTC) and IIEE Foundation (IIEEF), a collaboration to produce more competitive Electro-Technical Officers and Electro-Technical Ratings on board.

IIEEF, an affiliated foundation of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines Inc. (IIEE)- the only accredited organization of electrical practitioners by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), advocates the enhancement and upgrading of electrical engineering practices in the Philippines since 1998.

To continue this advocacy with an advanced and modern program, the foundation chose and entrusted UMTC as its official training partner. UMTC is known to be one of the leading training centers with the most competent and comprehensive training including Electro-Technical courses and programs in the maritime industry.

Without a second thought, UMTC welcomed the invitation and immediately supported the association as it does not just understand the need for the workforce on board, but also to fulfill its mission to deliver technically competent, globally competitive maritime professionals, and meet the needs of the industry.

UMTC assures to support the needs for instruments, equipment, and related training activities to advance the expertise and widen sea-based opportunities of those IIEE members who aspire to become ETO and ETRs.
