Seafastening Welding Course

This course aims to provide training to all seafarers engaged in heavy lift vessels, enabling them to develop their skills and ability to secure cargo using welding and gouging methods in accordance with Industry standards.

Training Outcome/s:

After the training, participants must be able to:

• Weld T joint
• Gouging T – Joint
• Cutting Plate metal

Entry Standard/s:

• All seafarers who would be assigned sea fastening welding and gouging heavy lift vessels onboard
• Completed the in-house Basic Electrical Arc Welding and Basic Oxy-Acetylene Gas Welding Course or must pass the in-house Electric Arc Welding Trade Test.
