Fuel Management for Management Level Engineers
This course is designed for all personnel whose responsibility lie in the area of bunkering fuel oil and adjusting the various machinery used for the treatment and consumption of fuel oil.
To deliver up-to-date, realistic training that provides knowledge, confidence, and competence to ensure safe and cost effective use of bunkered fuel oil.
Intended Learning Outcome/s
After the training/assessment, the participant/s shall be able to:
- Understand and interpret the fuel oil analysis report
- Use the analysis report to adjust relevant equipment so as to maximize the full potential of the fuel
- Be aware of any adverse effects the fuel may cause throughout the total fuel system
- Be aware of current regulations and guidelines as to the use of on board fuels
- Understand the responsibilities and duties needed during the bunkering, treatment, and consumption of fuel oil
