Engine Room Watchkeeping Refresher Training for Management Level
This program is designed to provide updating training for Senior Marine Engineering Officers to enhance their knowledge, skills, and safe working practices in the maritime industry using best management practices in engine room watch keeping.
Training Outcome/s:
After the training, the participants must be able to:
- Manage operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary machinery.
- Manage fuel oil and lube oil operations.
- Respond to engine room emergency situations.
- Monitor and control compliance with legislative and regulatory bodies.
- Manage the operation of electrical, electronic and control equipment.
- Manage troubleshooting, restoration of electrical, electronic and control equipment to operating condition.
Qualifications
Participant must be a Management Level Marine Engineer Officer.
